About Tribute to Nordberg:

  • Genre:
  • Rock

"Tribute to Nordberg are an alternative rock band based in Beeston . They are made up of Dave (guitar), Bobby (bass), Paul (vocals and guitar), and Rich (drums).

Formed in early 2010, the band have played a number of gigs including a triumphant appearance at the Y Not festival. They self-released their debut single “Breathless” in August 2011, and debut album “The Day After” in March 2012.

After a recent hiatus and line up change, the band have just released their new EP “Put it Together”.

Drawing their influences from bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Faith No More and the Deftones (to name a few) the band has developed a dark, heavy, rocking yet melodic sound.

“…grinding, unforgiving riffs tempered with a keen sense of melody and questing, yearning vocals. It’s a formidable combination” – leftlion.co.uk

“…overall it has that special kind of sound you can only get from a band that’s still obtaining mileage. That makes this album a bit of a jewel I highly encourage you to check out” – shakefire.com"
