Oxjam Beeston Takeover 2019, 17:00–17:30 The Be Bad Shirleys at The Star Inn Garden Stage
About The Be Bad Shirleys:
The Be Bad Shirleys is a Nottingham based three piece band playing a mix of folk, blues and country music, featuring Rebecca Leivers on vocals and mandolin, Karen Macleod on vocals and acoustic guitar and Vhairi Largeron on vocals and percussion. Highly individualised interpretations and the interplay of differing vocal styles lend intrigue to this threesome as does the contrasting use of fingerpicking guitar, percussion and rhythmic mandolin playing. Beautiful songs beautifully executed.
