Oxjam Beeston Takeover 2017, 22:30–23:30 §ylex at Rye Café & Bar
§ylex means "flint" in French, an ancient artifact used to make fire.
I began DJing professionally in 2011, when I was student in South France.
I gained experience and mastered my equipment by playing in local bars, at private functions and parties.
Then in January 2016 I moved to Amsterdam to discover more about music and culture. There, I regularly played sets on the Ship of Fools pirate ship, accompanied by an MC and began to collaborate with other DJs. I met many artists and found inspiration.
I have recently moved to Nottingham and have enjoyed playing my set for some local community festivals in Sneinton.
I play all genres of music, I love any beat! But I specialise in funk, disco, house, afrobeat and techno...
