The Oxjam Bee

Oxjam Beeston

Music Festival

Local Music, Global Impact that's what the Oxjam Music Festival is about. Here in Beeston it's also about COMMUNITY: all sorts of people doing their bit to make the phenomenon which is Oxjam Beeston happen - talented musicians performing for free, volunteer organisers and Takeover staff, venues, shops, and businesses, and of course the festival goers themselves. We thank you all!
We are grateful to three truly community venues who are hosting performers at Takeover which is TOMORROW!!:
Inspire Youth Arts at Beeston Library are showcasing some of Notts brightest young musical talent from 12 til 3pm.
Beeston Methodist Church, Chilwell Rd, is the beautiful setting for our popular mini choirfest from 2 til 6pm.
And there's a distinctly folk, roots, country feel to the afternoon at Middle Street Resource Centre where you can hear AJAR, January Moonlight, Fragile Sirens, Bifocal, Beaty and the Badger, The Halam Sessions, and The Lost Cause. That's from 1 til 6pm.
